Spencer Wells, the genetist who helped pointing out that modern Europeans didn't arrive via Mideast but from Siberia where they emerged together with mongoloid Asians, has now written a new book where he basically repeats Klevius criticism of civilizations in Demand for Resources - on the right to be poor (1992). The original idea is from 1980, and first published in a brief article 1981 after some discussions with the Finnish philosopher Georg Henrik von Wright (Ludwig Wittgenstein's possibly best friend).

The map is from Well's The Journey of Man, and further developed by Klevius. It definitely proves that what we may arguably consider as humans did not develop in Africa. What came out of Africa was a small Chimp/Homo hybrid which ought not to be confused with more human-like Homos already in existence both in Eurasia and Africa (these Homos later became mixed with the down-moving modern "Aurignacian" humans from the North).

If you know anything abt your Thalamus (the most important part of YOU) & if you possess enough IQ power, then read EMAH (the Even More Astonishing Hypothesis). In 1992, in Demand for Recources, Klevius established the foundation for a completely new understanding of observation, namely that both are the same, i.e. that there is no difference between understanding a phenomenon, sensation etc. or "observing" it! Just the opposite to e.g. Habermas' view, Klevius states that whatever we might think we "observe", it's already understood. Yes, it's easy to confuse our retroactive historical corrections as being "understandings" as opposed to "observations" (read more on EMAH abt how your Thalamus works).

In 1994 (or 5) Klevius sent a letter with a floppy disk containing an outline of EMAH to Francis Crick at Salk (should be archived there) because of Crick's book An Astonishing Hypothesis. The only response was a polite secretatry letter. I'm not sure Crick ever read EMAH.

Some "researchers" at the cognitive neuroscience section at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences) make fools of themselves by announcing they know where religious beliefs (which they, funny & foolish enough (see Klevius definition of religion), equate with "thinking about God") exist in the brain.

By presenting stupid* propositions like "God is angry at human behavior," or "There is no higher purpose" to 40 people — some religious, some nonreligious - the "researchers" just checked the blood flow on simple crude brain scan images.
* For a godist "god" is this person's own conscience, albeit presented in a way that makes it look as removed from ones own responsibility. On the other hand is "higher purpose" made looking, well, "higher" & hence synonymous to this alleged "god's" will. This is the classic paradox of godists. First you present something "non-believer" can't understand (simply because the real "god" is you yourself under cover) & then you ask if s/he believes in it!?

According to Koran-islam only true muslims can be considered real humans. The rest of the world hence belongs to either category two infidels "of the book" & or category three infidels (without "a book" presumably). The main difference between these declarations is that the former is negative, i.e. without room for interpretations and negotiation and due interventions, whereas the latter is positive, i.e. connected to “obligations and responsibilities”. Negative rights are here seen as not synonymous with natural rights, because the latter presumes the existence of certain rights, i.e. is in fact positive, whereas the former does not.

Whereas "entitled all the freedoms" is a negative right, "basic human dignity and basic obligations and basic responsibilities" are all positive rights. Through "responsibilities" negative human rights can easily be restricted & even eliminated.

Furthermore, "in terms of basic human dignity and basic obligations and basic responsibilities" are all tied to some imagined or real basic tenets which may include whatever tradition or belief about segregation that is at hand, i.e. the very opposite to freedom in the original UN charter. The very fact that "obligations and responsibilities" are mentioned and tied to "equal" opens up for inequality on the grounds of sex. If dignity, obligations and responsibilities are coupled to sex it inevitably means that they differ between the sexes.

So when Mary Wollstonecraft wrote A Vindication of the Rights of Woman the Saudi islamofascists were already busy with the opposite task, i.e. the original islam. In fact, the true nature of islam & its “Allah” is now slowly emerging in all its evil infidel racism & sexist confinement/rapetivism, easily traceable through 1400 years of heinous crimes (incl. physical genocides, hundreds of millions murdered & enslaved) against humanity, not to mention ethnic & cultural genocides - still ongoing in Sudan etc.

The foremost Nordic modernist poet, Edith Södergran, was a Finland-Swedish like Peter Klevius (meaning she belonged to a small Swedish language/cultural tradition in Finland). What is it to be a human being? Islam, for example, denies negative human rights (i.e. the most important ones) on the ground that full human rights are only entitled to what Koran/Islam considers "real" humans! Strictly speaking Islam doesn't even recognize non-Muslim non-believers as "real humans"!

According to EMAH our hitherto scientific understanding of consciousness and cognition seems, for the most part, way out of target(I.e. our body/mind system seems obtrusive and unwilling to match most of our previous interpretations). In fact it seems that those trying to theoretically solve the problem from a "human" perspective lag most behind whereas people dealing with industrial net works, processors/processing and robotics have come much closer to what it really is all about.

We often hide our shortcomings behind what we name "emotions" (i.e. a comfortable synonyme for human. Also compare our religious struggles with uncertainty - see Klevius'definition of religion). But instead it seems according to EMAH and AI research that the "gap" (compare Richard Leakey's 1992 Origins Reconsidered) between us and the other animals and plants is closing, and, in an extension, so does the "gap" between us and the machines.

But what is perhaps the most astonishing outcome of this approach is that it a) reveals many a "humanistic" approach as in fact inhumane and b) an opening for our real (albeit axiomatic) human value. Thalamus seen as a double-linked "screen of awareness" not only solves the "speed problem" in the brain but also helps us encounter ourselves as genuine parts of life (not as gods of life), in need for axiomatic moral stand points such as e.g. Negative Human Rights against fundamentalist religions.

EMAH also challenges the view, presented by Carl Popper, that humans may be hierarchically categorized from psimitive to sophisticated (see Demands for Resources by P. Klevius 1992). According to EMAH Popper's evolutionary cultural view traps its categories in its own prejudices.

Children live their judicial lives either completely outside the law or through juridical persons other than themselves. So, for example, constitute children (<18) in many countries the vast majority of criminals (usually because of lacking attachment to custodians paired with lack of studies/work etc) although they are, because they are children, not facing the consquences assumed by the law. As a result they often ruin their own and others' lives, while, in the meantime (and even before - as a cause), functioning as "arbitrary means" in the social state's bureaucracy and business under the title "child protection". Because leftist/feminist ideas have a natural home turf in the social state, and because (of sex segregation) women are still the main bearers of it, the equation seems to lead to even more detached and state nurtured children, through anti-kinship family legislation. It's in this light one has to consider:

The leftist/liberal legislator killed Terri Schiavo as a result of their eagerness to "protect children" (read: to intervene with flimsy ideas and policies aimed to collect state money for own careers) and of the lack of a legal protection for bio-ties (between siblings and between parents and grown up children - compare Klevius proposal of a Right to sexless marriage between close kins).
