But China is already almost a third bigger in GDP, growing much faster, and has a per capita potential many times that of US.
So the question for the world ought to be: Will playing puppets to the US $-freeloader push it over the edge?
Moreover, wouldn't UK have been much more "in control" if it hadn't put itself under the US-Saudi bandwagon after Brexit?
The US leadership knows very well that US can't possibly catch up with China in fair play - so...
