BBC complains there are too few "Asian" football players in top league. Peter Klevius complains there's too much cricket on BBC!
BAME people are over-represented on TV: Ethnic
minorities make up 22% of actors and presenters while only representing
12% of UK population. However, being muslim seems to be the most
important "skill" on the CV if you apply to BBC. If you also play
cricket or are interested in this boring "sport"* then you're definitely
in.
* Whereas in football
everyone has to move around, in cricket most people are just standing
and waiting. This is especially bad for children and teenagers who are
forced to inactivity during what could have been real PE. This is
especially detrimental for the physical development of many girls.
50 per cent of the England squad for Euro 2012 came from BAME backgrounds
The
percentage of Premier League players from BAME backgrounds has rocketed
from 16.5 per cent 25 years ago to 33 per cent today.
"Black" Lord Ouseley, founder and chair of "anti-racism" organisation Kick It Out, said: “These statistics do not surprise me and I expect the proportion to go on increasing in the Premier League. “Young black footballers know now that if they are good enough they will not be discriminated against because if managers are prejudiced they would be cutting off their noses to spite their face."
"White" Peter
Klevius, founder and chair of anti-racism and anti-sexism de-segregation
movement (one full member so far - pls, do sign up), said: “These
statistics do not surprise me and I expect the proportion to go on
increasing in the Premier League. “Young white footballers know now that
even if they are good enough they will still be discriminated against
because if managers are PC prejudiced they wouldn't be cutting off their
noses to spite their face."
Peter Klevius analysis:
The money goes to top leagues which are more vulnerable for PC
influence. I'm sure many blacks, muslims and others share my view -
except they rarely express it. And if they do - BBC won't lend them a
mic.

Peter Klevius won't watch England-Scotland in women's football world cup - before Scotland is independent or UK participates as ONE country!
Peter Klevius (the extremely normal) loves football in all forms (except American handball). But only when it's fair. It's not fair when UK participates as a country in the Brexit game, but as four countries in football!
