BBC News keeps trolling lies about China so to boost China hating PM candidates

BBC's latest anti-China rant was so over the top that it fulfills every aspect of criminal reporting - to an audience that is forced to pay for it!

BBC tried to angle it that China's 10% in Sri Lanka is 'almost on commercial terms' compared to Japam's 10% of speculative lending. However, BBC can not be unaware of the fact that China has worked for the money it lended to Sri Lanka. Building high quality infrastructure etc. - which Japan couldn't possibly do to the same low cost - which are there even when a default is at stake. In this resoect China is by far the most honest of countries involved.

In 2021 81% of Sri Lanka’s foreign debt was owned by U.S. and European financial institutions, as well as Western allies Japan and India, while 10% is owed to Beijing.
According to official statistics from Sri Lanka’s Department of External Resources, as of the end of April 2021, 47% of its foreign debt is owned by Western funds and banks.
The top holders of the Sri Lankan government’s debt, in the form of international sovereign bonds (ISBs):

    BlackRock (US)
    Ashmore Group (UK)
    Allianz (Germany)
    UBS (Switzerland)
    HSBC (UK)
    JPMorgan Chase (U.S.)
    Prudential (US)

The Asian Development Bank and World Bank, which are dominated by the US, own 13% and 9% of Sri Lanka’s foreign debt, respectively.
The World Bank is completely in the hands of the US which is also the only shareholder group with veto power.
Even the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is largely a vehicle of US influence. The DC-based think tank the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), which is funded by Western governments, described the it as a “strategic asset for the US,” and a crucial challenger to the Chinese-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Japan, owns 10% of Sri Lanka’s foreign debt.
2% of Sri Lanka’s foreign debt was owed to India as of April 2021. However, in early 2022, India was the top lender to Sri Lanka, with 550% more credit than Beijing between January and April.

This fanatic militaristic China-hater Tom Tugenhadt is now BBC's favorite when the part time muslim Savid Javid was ousted. Just listen how he and BBC staged an "interview" that had nothing to do with journalistic reporting, but all to do with the style of Nazi German anti-democratic propaganda.
